Atlantic Sapphire is transforming the way we eat and think about salmon by sustainably farming it.

For 10 years they’ve had a visual identity that doesn’t accurately reflect their hard work and recent accomplishments. I was hired to position the brand and curate the creative vision for the company as they expanded into the U.S. market.

During our market research and interviews with team members, we wanted to highlight these key points:

  1. The amount of fun our team has doing their jobs.

  2. The true camaraderie between team members.

  3. Sustainability can be lighthearted and fun, rather than rooted in shame as is the industry norm.

Atlantic Sapphire

Capitalizing on these points, I led a creative team of 6 to develop a new brand inspired by the ocean, the salmon, the team, and the loyal customers who have been with Atlantic Sapphire since the beginning. We developed a new identity, website, brand assets, and more.

I utilized shapes and lines reminiscent of currents and salmon migration patterns. I also placed an emphasis on oversized text that makes reading fun and keeps everyone engaged.
